US trade chief says no countries have said they will withdraw from tariff deals
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said he is actively speaking with countries that have tariff agreements with the United States, and none have signaled plans to revoke or withdraw those deals following the Supreme Court’s decision last Friday.
Greer noted ongoing conversations and emphasized that no participants had indicated intentions to back out of the tariff arrangements in light of the ruling.
The comments come as the administration monitors potential impacts on trade relationships and seeks to preserve tariff accords amid judicial actions.
